January 1, 2003 - Heritage Writer Comes to Halifax Betty Dobson, of InkSpotter, in Halifax, is editor of Heritage Writer, Nova Scotia edition. Heritage Writer, a six-page monthly publication, is "A Connection to the Past for ALL Ages." It started in 1992 in Albany, Oregon USA. According to Margaret L. Ingram, owner, the newsletter is circulated through subscriptions, newsstands, retirement facilities, senior centers, genealogical and historical societies, and libraries. Requests for sample copies are encouraged. Heritage Writer accepts business card size advertisements. Deadline for articles and advertisement copy is the 25th of the month prior to publication.
